Summary
CABWI awards a suite of competence-based and knowledge-based vocational qualifications, which are regulated by Ofqual in England and CCEA in Northern Ireland.

Regulated qualifications are based on units of assessment which CABWI develops in consultation with industry specialists and training providers. Each unit has a level and a credit value, and may be taken on a single-unit basis, or as part of one of CABWI’s Awards, Certificates or Diplomas.
A full list of CABWI’s current regulated qualifications, with their structures and related unit information, is available on the Qualifications page, where you can search by unit or qualification title, or by subject area. The qualifications provide recognition of vocational skills and knowledge for those working in the water and related industries, and support the delivery of apprenticeship programmes.
In Scotland, CABWI works jointly with SQA Awarding Body to provide qualifications for those working in the Scottish water industry.
